Museum Operations and Public Engagement Manager

Under the guidance of the University Archivist and Gallery Curator, the Museum Operations and Public Engagement Manger will provide front-line management and curatorial support for the Gallery of Iconic Guitars and the Frederick Hart Studio Museum. Primary position responsibilities: Facilitates the day-to-day operations of the Gallery of Iconic Guitars and the Frederick Hart Studio Museum including docent management and training, visitor services, administrative duties, data management, and tours as assigned. Creates the schedule for student staffing of gallery spaces. Plans, coordinates, and oversees gallery events and facility rentals, serving as the primary museum liaison for clients and campus partners. Collaborates on the curation of special exhibits.
