Applied Guitar Rank: Instructor/Assistant Professor The School of Music in the College of Music and Performing Arts at Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure track (Assistant Professor) or non-tenure track (Instructor), beginning August 1, 2027. The primary responsibilities for this position include providing instruction in undergraduate and graduate commercial applied guitar. Other courses in performance and style and or/direction of an instrumental ensemble in the commercial genre may be included based on candidate’s background and area of expertise. An annual teaching load would include a combination of applied lessons and academic courses equaling a 24-hour teaching workload.
