Director of Clinical Training

Position Description The Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University invites applications for the position of Director of Clinical Training (DCT) to begin in August 2026 . This tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position and key leadership role involves overseeing the clinical training of our PsyD and PhD doctoral students in Clinical Psychology. The DCT ensures that Rosemead doctoral students receive high-quality training experiences so that our students demonstrate the professional-wide competencies as set forth by the APA Standards of Accreditation and our program competencies of integrations of Christian Faith and psychology. The DCT serves as the professor of record for all internship courses, working closely with the Assistant Director of Clinical Training. Alignment with Theological Positions The person who fills this position must be someone who personally agrees with Biola’s Articles of Faith and Statement of Biblical Principles and who is supportive of the positions taken by Biola as contained in its Eschatology Teaching Position. As such, this person may not speak against or act in a manner inconsistent with these positions during the course of their employment at Biola. Educational Requirements PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
