Assistant Professor of Music

About the Appointment: Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will teach private composition lessons, courses in the integrated theory/aural skills core musicianship curriculum, and in music technology. Primary responsibilities include teaching composition lessons, core music theory and musicianship courses, and courses/experiences in music technology. Additional responsibilities may also include other courses in the candidate’s secondary area(s) of interest, depending on departmental need. The successful candidate will exhibit a collaborative spirit and assume an active role in the recruitment, advising, and retention of music students.
