Armed Security Officer

This position exists to patrol the campus, protect property, and respond to emergency situations and requests for assistance. This position is eligible to receive a shift differential. Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor at all times; practice open dialogue and understanding, and communicate with others in an honest, professional, and respectful manner. Interact, provide and exchange information with students, employees and guests; develops a rapport with members of the university community and surrounding areas; participate in community relations activities. Demonstrate a high level of awareness, good judgment, and critical thinking skills in all aspects of the position.
